Hotel Description

Vritomartis Hotel took its name from an ancient Minoan goddess worshipped in the area. The hotel is located in the region of Sfakia on the South coast of Crete, near the village of Hora Sfakion. This region is one of the most spectacular and unspoilt coastal area of Crete.
The hotel is built in a traditional Greek style and situated on a promontory overlooking the South Cretan sea. The spectacular range of the White Mountains rises to a height of over 2000 metres to the North.
Vritomartis Hotel combines modern facilities with traditional Cretan style, comfort and simplicity and has excellent indoor and outdoor facilities.

Children are welcome and have the use of a children's pool and a small playground.

Our resort is a licensed naturist resort and broadly follows the guidelines laid down by the International Naturist Federation: none of the indoor areas of the hotel are naturist whilst all the outside areas are naturist from sunrise to sunset.
Naturism is required by the pool and on the beach.

Location

Vritomartis Hotel is situated on the South coast of Crete, one km before arriving at the village of Hora Sfakion (also known as Sfakia).
Hora Sfakion is situated by the Libyan sea, 75 km from Hania, 155 km from Heraklion and 80 km from Rethimnon.
Getting there by car
To reach Vritomartis Hotel you drive on the National Road along the North coast and turn off at the village of Vrisses. From there on it is a 40 km drive towrds the South on a good but very curvy road to Sfakia.
Once you finish driving the spectacular road leading down from the mountain to the coast and the road becomes straighter, drive another km and you will see Vritomartis Hotel on your left (there is a sign). If you miss the entrance (easy to do because the hotel itself is set quite far back from the road) you will come to a BP petrol station. This means that you have gone too far and need to turn back a few hundred meters.

Rooms

Vritomartis hotel has 180 beds in 85 beautifully appointed rooms, of which 42 are located on two floors in the main building and 43 in 9 separate bungalows. All the rooms have air conditioning, telephone and radio. It is also possible to rent a small fridge.

An indoor restaurant along with outdoor veranda overlooking the garden.
Our restaurant provides a breakfast and dinner buffet with a wide variety of Greek and international dishes.
The bar has a large veranda overlooking the garden where the evening activities take place.

In case of cancelation within 8 – 14 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be refund.
