Villa Anna Maria is a lovely 4-bedroom villa with private pool, which is located near the village of Gerani, 15 km west of the beautiful town of Chania. The villa is set in a grassy landscape, among olive groves and bamboo fields, 600m only from the sandy beach.
Villa Anna Maria is an airy, spacious and nicely decorated villa with furnishing of high quality. Gorgeous sea views are offered from the interior and the courtyard of the villa.
The guests can enjoy some excellent local tavernas, cafes, a bakery shop and two mini markets in the nearby village of Gerani (2 km). More entertainment and night life can be found in the lively resort of Platanias (3 km west).

Location

Gerani is a seaside, quiet village which is built along the old national road, 15 km west of Chania. The inhabitants call it ‘Palaio Gerani’, meaning ‘Old Gerani’, in order to distinguish it from the coastal settlement of ‘Ano Gerani’, meaning ‘Upper Gerani’, which is located one kilometer to the south.
The centre of the village is quite widespread and it is built around the cross point of the provincial road to Modi with the old National Road. All the amenities are provided here.
One very important characteristic of the village is the small river which passes through it to the sea. The word ‘Gerani’ comes from the way the locals were pumping water from the swallow waters 500 years ago.
The long sandy beach on the north of the village gains every year the Blue Flag; it is partly organised (not crowded) and provides all kind of facilities such as sun-chairs, umbrellas, showers, W.C. and sea sports. The blue of the sea joins with the blue or starry sky in calmness and passion.

Rooms

The ground floor of the villa Anna Maria consists of an open plan living room (with TV, Dvd/cd player, fireplace), a dining  area and a fully equipped kitchen. Big refrigerator and electric kitchen, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine are provided.
One double bedroom with ensuite shower room, as well as two twin bedrooms and a common bathroom with washing machine are offered on the same floor.
The upper floor of the villa consists of one twin bedroom, a shower room and small sitting area. Each bedroom is equipped with air-condition and a private balcony.
From the living room there is an access to the large shaded courtyard with outdoor furniture, gorgeous sea views and a private pool of 50 sqm. Sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as a barbecue corner are provided. Moreover, the lovely sandy beach of Gerani is only 600m away from the villa.
