One of the main things the establishment offers is the traditional hospitality that all visitors are looking for. The many facilities offered by the hotel guarantee you a very pleasant stay.
The hotel is open only the summer period which this year begins May 14th and lasts until the end of October.
The area of Gerani is located 1 klm. from the center of Platanias.
There is a local bus for Platanias and the city center of Chania every 20 minutes and stops 50 meters from the hotel. If you have rented a car, the hotel provides a safe parking area for it.
Gerani Beach is a popular beach due to the fact that it has been awarded a "Blue Flag" from E.E.C. The beach offers sun-beds and umbrellas, and other activities such as "beach volley-ball".
Creta Sun offers a very big swimming pool. All visitors to the hotel can relax and enjoy a nice cold cocktail while bathing in the sun.
The pool is enjoyed by all visitors and at all times of day, right from the early hours in the morning.
The children's pool is a very safe area, near the restaurant/bar. This way all parents can enjoy their meal or drink and also have the ability to watch over their children while they are in the water.
Furthermore, their is a small playground for the children.
The beach at Creta Sun Hotel is one of the lovliest beaches in the Chania region. Quiet and relaxing.

Location

"Creta Sun Hotel" is located in Gerani of Platanias Municipality, about 13 klm. west of the city of Chania. The newest part of the hotel (the biggest part of the complex) was built in 2000 and consists of suites and apartments.
"Creta Sun Hotel" is situated right on the beach of Gerani. The apartments in the hotel can fit up to 6 persons, very comfortably, as all the rooms are enormous - meaning very spacious.

 

Rooms

All apartments and studios at "Creta Sun Hotel" have a bathroom, kitchen with necessary equipment, refrigerator, telephone,  and hair-dryer. All the rooms have a balcony or terrace.
Furthermore, you will find that each room offers air-conditioning, a safety box and a mini-bar (at an extra charge).
The studios and apartments are spacious and quite letting you to enjoy your holidays
 
Even the studios are fully equipped with all the above mentioned.

Food & Beverage

RESTAURANT: The "Creta Sun"  restaurant is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner where you can enjoy the fabulous view of the pool and the surroundings.
The restaurant offers from small snacks up to international cuisine such as filets, pizza, hamburgers, spaghetti, and omelets. Of course it also offers dishes from the famous Greek cuisine such as moussaka and gemista.

BAR: The bar is available to all visitors at almost all hours. Professional and hospitable bartenders have been employed to offer you the best cocktails around, and furthermore, a great choice of music for all likings. What kind of cocktail would you like ...?
 
BBQ-BUFFET: The weekly buffet is the one thing all the visitors definitely look forward to (just to inform you ... it is held every Friday night, so don't make any plans on that night!).
A large variety of local meats and other specialties fill the buffet table. Everything is carefully prepared using the best ingredients and being offered along with some of the best wines, all productions of Crete.  
After dining, you have the ability to join everyone in a nice Cretan Dance, also  something everyone looks forward to. Ever wanted to learn how the "Sirtaki" goes?
