The “Vouno Village Apartments” are situated in the village of Vouno, Chios and comprise of 9 apartments with one or two rooms. The apartments have been restored following the traditional characteristic elements of their architecture.
They are well-cared in every detail and adapted to the daily needs of our days, so staying in them is a comfortable and memorable expirience for every guest. The uniqueness of the place, the taverns and fish taverns, which are in the village and in the neighbouring areas, add color to your stay and a fragrance of mastiha is blended with the sea breeze.

Location

Vouno, like the other Mastihohora, impresses with its architecture, which was the result of the compulsory proximity of the inhabitants, necessitated by the fear of pirates and the wish of the Genoese to control the production and delivery of mastiha.
Vouno, like the other Mastihohora, is far away and invisible from the sea. The village is extended to around a sq. km. and the external wall in the border of which the village has been developed is absent. Its fortification is the result of the unity and uninterrupted building of the houses outside walls, which are around the village.
Two gates made the village communication possible with the outside world. The village roads are narrow and their complicated layout, gave and advantage to the inhabitants in case of invasion. The village is built on a rock and this protected it in 1881 when a disastrous earthquake struck causing minor damages.
Seven hundred and fifty people live in the village in our days and it is one of the richest Mastihohora.
The surrounding area is full of amazing beaches, ideal to enjoy the swimming. Sandy beaches like Komi or pebbly ones like “Mavra Volia” with the unique volcanic, black pebbles. There are also the neighbouring beaches at Gridia, Lilikas, Agios Giannis and the little picturesque sheltered port of Vokaria.

If you cancell, up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If you cancell, 6-3 days before the date of arrival, the 50% of the total value of your reservation  will be charged.
If you cancel later,or in case of non-show, or in earlier departure than the programmed one, then the total price of the reservation will be charged.
